Is Social Media bad or good for the society?
Social media is bad for the society is because no one uses social media for good reasons. According to the Web Side Social Networking Procon.org, social media is bad for some persons but good for others, what this means is social media helps people to find information, but social media had bad things, too. For example, people talk about how social media helps but another person’s thinks that social media is a bad influence. Furthermore, people still use social media for research.
The first reason social media is bad for the society is that social media can entice people to waste time. What this means is people are not able to finish or do the things they need to do because they are on social media all the time. For example, many people that don’t do the things they have to do that means they waste all their time in their “life” Social Media than in their chores and the stuff they have to do. Furthermore, many people should do their chores and the stuff they have to do than just using social media.
The second reason social media is bad for the society is that social media cause people to spend less time interacting face to face. What this means, is people use less time doing their chores because they are on social media. for example, many people don’t talk to their families just because they are on their phones using social media than doing them. Furthermore, social media is bad for our society because people
have less time to be with their family because they are on social media all the time and that is not good because they don’t pay attention to their kids and their chores because they are in social media almost all the time.
The third reason why social media is bad for the society is that social media facilitates cyberbullying. What this means is that they are more victims than bullies because people send comments and the victims see it. For example, most of the message that is on Facebook or in the Web Side are insults. Furthermore, the messages are part of social media that’s why social media is bad for the society.
